3 July 2003 Disease Outbreak Reported As of 2 July, the Ministry of Health, Algeria has reported a total of 10 cases of which 8 have been laboratory confirmed (see previous report). These include 8 cases of bubonic plague and 2 of septicemic plague, of which one was fatal. Eight additional cases are under investigation.
